Hello August

We celebrated the new month with a nice lunch at Panera. We LOVE Panera and once in a while I take the kids and we have a nice time being together, enjoying great food ( we are foodies ;) ) and me having the pleasure of not cooking and afterwards cleaning the whole kitchen. It was a blast especially 'cause the boys behaved nicely and I could sit back and even relax trough the whole mealtime and that is something. Having two toddler under the age of 4 isn't always easy particularly with boys and the unbelievably high amount of energy they have - boy what would I give to get some of that! But yesterday it was great and Mommy was very happy  and if Mommy is happy - everybody is happy ;)

Zur Feier des Tages, eigentlich gab es nicht wirklich etwas zu zelebrieren ausser vielleicht das gestern der August angefangen hat, sind die Kids und ich mittags in unser Lieblingscafe Mittagessen gegangen. Zu meiner Überraschung hat es mit den Jungs super gut geklappt, wir waren alle entspannt und konnten so unsere Köstlichkeiten auch richtig geniessen. Es gibt Tage, da geht es überhaupt nicht mit den zwei Rabauken (Dank dem Energieueberfluss den meine Jungs einfach haben) und dann gibt es Tage da läuft es wie geschmiert. Gestern lag es vielleicht auch daran, dass ich zur Zeit richtig entspannt bin und einfach nur gut drauf.  Während des Essens konnte ich so sogar noch ein wenig mehr relaxen - Klasse!

At night my husband and I went to Boston to celebrate the birthday from a friend. The party took place in a nice room at the Top of the Hub - a very fine restaurant on the 52th floor of the Prudential Tower. Oh how much I enjoyed it! It was so nice to have finally a night out with my hubby, walking while holding hands trough the night streets of this beautiful town, meeting wonderful people, having great food (again, I am a foodie ;) ) and a spectacular view over the city. 

Gestern Abend ging es noch nach Boston rein zum Top of the Hub Restaurant im Prudential Tower, da ein Freund (im deutschen würde man eher guter Bekannter sagen) Geburtstag hatte. Es war mal wieder ein richtig schöner Abend und für uns seit langem mal wieder etwas Zeit zu Zweit. Ich geniesse es, wenn ich meinen Mann mal für mich habe und wir zusammen etwas schönes erleben. Gerade gestern kam davon vieles zusammen wie z.B. lieb gewonnene Menschen wieder sehen, neue sehr angenehme Menschen kennenlernen, richtig gutes Essen, einen Blick auf die grosse schöne City haben und Hand in Hand durch die dunklen Strassen in der Nacht laufen. Machen wir viel zu selten, doch Mimi hatte gestern Abend gezeigt das sie sich ganz grossartig um die Jungs kümmern kann, vielleicht können wir so öfters mal abends weggehen wieder. Schön waers :)

It's August and there are some things I have or want to do, like:

- throwing my first Pool-Party

- going to the check up appointment with my little Lion

- getting school stuff ready for and with Mimi

- painting my entry (I would love to call it mud room but it's only two feet or so) and organize it for 5    people

- going to the back to school night at the Princes daycare

- having a Graduation Party at daycare

- going to the movies with my Prince and watching "Planes"

- working on my bakery blog
